It’s that time of the year, folks. Love is in the air. And for our Valentines celebration at Regal Mira Mesa this year, we’ve hand picked one of our favorite 80s rom-coms, starring one of our favorite actors.
On February 11th, join us for our official Pre-Valentines celebration as we bring VAMPIRE’S KISS back to the big screen for the first time in San Diego in over 30 years!
Do you know VAMPIRE’S KISS by heart already, or might this be a first time watch for you? Nicolas Cage gives a tour de force performance as Peter, a corporate hot shot who starts..thinking he’s turning into a vampire…after a close encounter with some chick. VAMPIRE’S KISS is pure, unadulterated early Cage, and has spawned countless viral memes in recent years centered around Cage’s no-holds-barred commitment to the role.
Beyond the amazing movie, if you swing through, you’ll get the chance to compete in a costume contest we’re hosting pre-show. We recommend getting everything you need from @sandiegocostumes in North Park - and if you come dressed as your favorite Nicolas Cage character and/or favorite vampire, you’ll get a chance to win a prize from us or Regal Mira Mesa. We’ll also be giving out Valentines candy pre-show, to get you in the mood.
