We have one more holiday surprise up our sleeve, San Diego! On Thursday, December 11th, join us on the Grand Palace screen at Regal Mira Mesa (the biggest screen in the county, by our calculations) to catch a special San Diego Holiday Premiere of Cineverse and director Mike P. Nelson’s SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT.
What can we expect from SNDN ‘25? Here’s the official synopsis:
A reimagining of the controversial 1984 cult horror classic – When Billy witnesses his parents’ grisly murder on Christmas Eve at the hands of Santa, it ignites a lifelong mission to spread holiday fear. Every Christmas, he dons the jolly red suit and delivers a blood-soaked massacre to feed his twisted sense of justice. This Christmas Eve, Billy wants to know: “Have you been naughty?”
Mike P. Nelson (V/H/S 85, WRONG TURN) is directing, and… Scott Schneid and Dennis Whitehead (the ‘84 original producers) are returning to produce again. We’ve heard that we can expect all of the edgy gore that makes the original so fun, and we can’t wait to see how boundaries are pushed with this latest iteration.
As we mentioned, this is a special Holiday San Diego premiere, and of course, we’re going to roll out the red carpet! Expect some SNDN Franchise Trivia pre-show with the chance to win special prizes, a curated classic Santa Slasher trailer reel before the show starts…and maybe some more surprises!
On December 11th, Billy is back, and he’s coming to San Diego.
