Summer Movie Season holds a dear place in our hearts, and if you're a hardcore moviegoer, you know that The Season officially starts on May 1st. May is one of the most underrated months of the year, and we're going to leverage the strength of this "pre-summer" limbo month to bring you a killer secret-lineup double feature, showcasing two movies that bring the party atmosphere of summer vibes, but are also still technically set while school is in session. May-vibe-movies are a pretty niche subgenre, and you might be the first audience in the world to experience a film night like this, so give yourself a round of applause.
We can't give you many more hints about this top secret lineup, but we will also confirm that:
-Yes, these are both high school movies
-They're both SoCal set
-And finally - one of them is a very fun and light film, while the other is...pretty much the exact opposite. We're all about yin and yang here at Popcorn Reef, as you all well know by now.

In all honesty, this lineup has been something we've been dreaming about putting together for years now, and we're beyond stoked that we get to host it at Regal Mira Mesa on the luxury recliners and with the amazing menu lineup so you guys can keep snacking all night long.
