As far as Hollywood is concerned, there’s only two people in the world named Clint. One is the guy who likes to ask if you’re feeling lucky. And the other…of course…is the inimitable Clint Howard.
On Wednesday, September 9th, join us back at Regal Mira Mesa as we salute one of the most legendary character actors of all time when we host the reclining seat multiplex world premieres (!) of two of Clint’s best lead role performances in EVILSPEAK and ICE CREAM MAN.
In EVILSPEAK (1981) (which was also a “Video Nasty” and banned in the UK until 2004) Clint stars as military cadet Stanley Coopersmith. After being bullied by his peers, he finds a book of black mass which he uses, through a computer, to conjure Satan.
In ICE CREAM MAN (1995), Clint stars as Gregory Tudor, a deranged man recently released from a psychiatric institution. He opens up an ice cream factory, where he begins using human flesh in his recipes.
After those synopses, we really don’t know how you can miss this show. But if that weren’t enough, you’ll also be treated to an exclusive Clint Howard greatest hits trailer reel pre-show, Clint Howard trivia, and a couple other surprises we haven’t quite figured out yet.
