On August 20th, the death of another summer movie season is upon us, but death, in general, is bogus. It’s summer forever here at Popcorn Reef, and we’re celebrating that with a special screening of one of our favorite SoCal flicks of all time - BILL AND TED’S BOGUS JOURNEY.
For anyone who’s a longtime fan, we don’t need to tell you - this is how you do a sequel, people. Wildly inventive, full of bizarre and surreal imagery, yet still accessible and fun for everybody, BILL AND TED’S BOGUS JOURNEY is, in our humble opinion, the crown jewel of the trilogy, and one of the most underrated films of the 90s.
On August 20th, come see the Wyld Stallyns on the biggest screen you’ve probably ever seen them on. Recline back and celebrate all things summer movie season with us, because even if it’s about to be fall - you’re never going to sink our Battleship.
