San Diegans are out there making a name for themselves in Hollywood, and it's our duty at Popcorn Reef to celebrate that. Saturday Night Live (and Scripps Ranch High School) alum Kyle Mooney is making his directorial debut with the horror-comedy Y2K, and we've got your passes for a free hometown advance screening of the film, courtesy of A24, on Friday, November 22nd at 7 PM at the AMC Mission Valley. Kyle and screenwriter Evan Winter will be joining you live in person for a post-film Q&A as well.
You can RSVP for the event right here. We'll see you there.
Y2K Synopsis:
Two high school nobodies make the decision to crash the last major celebration before the new millennium on New Year's Eve 1999. The night becomes even crazier than they could have ever dreamed when the clock strikes midnight.
